Reasons Why ‘The Fed’ Can’t Escape Reality

Recently The Fed’s Jerome Powell emphasized that a Recession for the U.S. Economy was not probable. He stressed that the unemployment rate was at a 50 year low of around 3.6 percent and that inflation was ticking down slightly. After sharing that statement, Mr. Powell then delivered this, “There could be some pain involved in restoring price stability.” I’m sorry folks, I must share with you that he is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He additionally shared that unemployment could also tick upward slightly in the upcoming months
